Survival kits are the best way to make someone special smile when they are going through a tough time. The list of items you can add is endless and there's a kit for almost any occasion! Paper clips: to help you ''hold'' it together.

Tea bag: to remind you to relax.

Money: so you will never have to say "I'm broke".

Whiteout: to help you wipe away problems you don't feel like solving.

Granola bar: to remind you to stay healthy and eat.

Jeans: to remind you to stay comfortable.

Snickers: to remind you to take time to laugh.

Erasers: to help you erase all your fears. 

Sanitizer: to remind you to stay fresh.

Tape: to help you keep your eyes open when you feel like sleeping.

Permanent marker: to remind you that I'm always by your side no matter what.

Soup: for when things are too hot to handle.

Crazy bar: to help you calm down when things are going crazy.

Notepads: to help you remember what's important.

Flake: just because it's your favorite.

Water bottle: to help you when dealing with people that ''dry your throat" ;) ;) ;) ;)

 Gum: to help you stick to your goals.

Highlighter: to remind you that you are the highlight of my day.

Phone card: to remind you to call me when you need a friend.

Correction pen: to help you correct any mistakes.

Air freshener: to keep your office fresh and clean.

Green: For when you're dealing with the grouchy and mean.

Brown: For the times when you are down.

Orange: is a special coating. it will help minimize bloating :)

Red: Helps cure the aches in your head.

Yellow: to help you mellow.

Blue: When you feel like you have no clue.

Hannah Montana Themed Party

For this theme, we had to decide on two things. What colors do 9 and 10 year old girls love? Pink and purple! Favorite show? Hannah Montana! So yes that is what we went with. This birthday party was for two sisters, and everything made them feel like rock stars, from the disco balls to the photo props.

We placed the handmade favors and birthday hats in the back, and the food in the middle.

 These were so much fun! Handmade guitar favors filled with goodies such as Hannah Montana stickers and coloring pages, necklaces, bracelets, rings, and mirrors. All the items needed to feel like a star.

 Aren't these centerpieces too cute? We made one for each birthday girl, and added a guitar and a microphone to each.

 Food, food, food! The lip shaped sugar cookies were delicious!

Cupcake Bouquet

Oh cupcakes, I can't imagine my life without cupcakes. Put them on a table, add them to a plate, make them pops, with or without frosting, cupcakes never seize to amaze me. Imagine getting a cupcake bouquet! This would work for so many occasions, or can be used instead of a cupcake stand. Yes, I actually made this for my amazing sister... happy birthday sis!!!

Do I really have to write anything explaining how awesome these were? I think the pictures say enough. The kids went crazy over these I was so scared there wouldn't be enough for everyone! Dear Oreos... I don't know how you do it but you never seem to disappoint anyone.

Gift Basket for Mom

I just love gift baskets. They can be filled up with so many 'gifts', the options are endless. This was a basket for a mom, and I thought it would be great to get her family working too. Her kids are too cute and we had a lot of fun taking pictures. This would work for any occasion, birthdays, mother's day, or simply just to say I love you!

Filled it up with homemade heart chocolate lollipops, vouchers, goodie bags, handmade felt roses bouquet, and a mom frame.

If you still don't know your letters, they're M-O-M :). This frame is just the perfect gift. I have to warn you though, taking pictures of kids is not easy! Take at least 50 pictures so you can choose 3 :)

Happy Eid Everyone!

Happy Eid! I hope the past Ramadan was filled with blessings for everyone. Finally I will be able to look at food again and actually bake them during the day (and post post post!). As a gift from me to you, please help yourself to some delicious sweets from any one of these baskets we made.

These were the two baskets we made. Since I like you for liking my blog, you are allowed to take one from each. The one on the left consists of goodie bags filled with chocolate, chocolate covered raisins, and sugar cookies. The one on the right is filled with more chocolate, chocolate covered raisins, and sugar cookies.

These bags are great for the kids (and a great way to keep the house clean). I'm going to be nice (again) and let you take as many as you want!

We made these cute bag labels that have different Eid blessings written on them.

Moon and stars shaped sugar cookies with drizzled chocolate and sprinkles. Hurry up and eat them before I do!

 

I hope you're not full, because you have to eat something from this basket too. We made moons and stars chocolate, and added the Hijri year 1432. Those are too cute to eat. I hope you enjoyed your Eid sweets!

Red, Pink, and Orange Anniversary Party

The theme for this anniversary party was red, pink, and orange, keeping it elegant and fun at the same time. This was a wonderful surprise for our parents, and a great family gathering.We also made a family slideshow that started off with the family baby pictures and ended with.... well what our lives ended up to be after these 24 for years of being a family. This day will definitely be remembered, the food, decorations, slideshow, and a dinner gift card were the perfect combination to make our parents happy on their anniversary!

The dining table was covered with brown table cloth and a pink table runner. Handmade pink, orange, and red felt roses were used as the centerpiece. Around them, candles and pearls were used, keeping the table elegant.

What's on the menu? Chocolate covered apples, carrot cake, cheesecake, and heart shaped chocolate lollipops. And of course, everything was homemade :)

Hmm is that an envelope? What's a better anniversary gift than a dinner for two at the Mövenpick Hotel!
