Eid Mubarak!

Eid Mubarak! We hope every one is enjoying this special holiday with the people they love. Here are some Eid favors that we made for you all! I made three different types of favors, all using the colors gold and black.  Check out the pictures for more details. We wish you a happy, blessed, and peaceful Eid Al-Adha.
I made this box with the words "Eid Mubarak" and added some treats in it.
There's one for you, you, and you!
I just love how the words turned out on the box. I covered it with gold glitter, and added star shaped marshmallows in a bag. Can't forget that adorable sheep!
I made these bags for the younger kids. Isn't she adorable (I wish that was my dress)!
These are the Kaaba shaped boxes like the ones I made for the Hajj (check that out here). I filled them up with chocolate covered dates.
Our super cute cousin (and her sheep) want to wish you all a very happy and blessed Eid!
She is just the cutest! I love how she had the sheep next to her in that picture. I'll be posting more pictures of the handmade headband she's wearing this week. Eid Mubarak!

Hajj Mubarak!

Hajj is almost over, and we are all excited to welcome back our family and friends that were lucky enough to go to Mecca and visit the Kaaba this year. Here are some simple decorations, favors and treats that we made for this year. Everything is gold and black, and we made boxes shaped as the Kaaba. May Allah's blessings light your way and bring happiness to your heart as you praise and serve him today and always. Hajj Mubarak to all of our Muslim family and friends!
I made a frame, added some gold paper, and the words "Hajj Mubarak".
Kaaba shaped homemade sugar cookies.
This is the first box we made shaped as the Kaaba.
A great treat to add in this box would be these chocolate covered dates wrapped in a gold wrapper.
This is the second box I made shaped as the Kaaba. It's a little larger than the first box, and chocolate dates could be added in this one too.
Our handmade chocolate lollipops covered in a gold wrapper. I made them as circles to match the gold circle background that I made.
This is the largest box that I made shaped as the Kaaba. It is open from the top so you can add sweets and chocolates. Such a cute way to serve simple sweets!

Real Madrid Soccer Themed Party Decorations, Sweets, & More

Remember the Real Madrid soccer/football (call it what you want) that we threw last year? Ever since we posted the pictures (check them out here) people have been asking for the items such as the decorations, favors, and activities every other day (I might be exaggerating just a little). For this party, we made some new decorations, sweets, and even favors. The colors we used were blue, white, and black. This party is for all of you soccer/ football fans! Check out the pictures for more details. Happy birthday Ibrahim!
Display for most of the items.
We made this personalized birthday banner.
We covered soda cans with a wrapper.
These are the popcorn boxes we made with personalized flags and a label.
The birthday hat.
The mini soccer balls we made to throw around the table.
The activity for this party was an autograph soccer ball! I made a sign to add on top of it saying "Partying with Ibrahim is our goooooal"!
Toppers to add on top of the food that would be served during the party.
Homemade sugar cookies shaped as a soccer ball and trophy!
These could be given out as favors or could be served to the guests during the party. Handmade chocolate lollipops shaped as a soccer ball and a shirt! Don't forget to check out our earlier post for more Real Madrid themed items (click here).

Princess Themed Birthday Party

The most beautiful princess has turned 6 years old! What's a best birthday theme for a princess? A pink and silver princess party of course! This was a very simple party and she loved the gift and being the center of attention. We made cupcakes and sugar cookies, and the gift was a basket filled with many princess gifts. We gave her a tiara and princess sash to wear during the party. Check out the pictures below for more details. Happy 6th Birthday, Mennah! We love you so much!
The princess's gift basket. We filled it up with everything that was pink, silver, and princess themed.
Some of the items in the basket were princess coloring pages, puzzles, a princess movie, and princess stickers. But there's more!
Also in the gift basket was a mini silver carriage filled with marshmallows, a crown for the birthday girl to wear, a wand, princess crayons, a Barbie fairytale book, a princess necklace, and so much more!
The birthday princess ready and excited to open her gift!
This is the handmade princess crown shaped card we made for her. She loved it!
This princess deserves all of the gifts she wishes for!
We made cupcakes and wrapped them with a princess tiara wrapper.
Time to sing and wish her a happy birthday!
These are the homemade sugar cookies we made. We shaped them as a princess tiara of course!
This is such a great favor idea for a princess party! A homemade chocolate lollipop that could be wrapped and a customized label could be added.
Hope all of your wishes come true! We love you!

Fashion Themed Birthday Party

This party is cute, classy, and perfect for a girl's 11th birthday! The theme was fashion, and we used the colors pink, white, and black. This theme could be adjusted for any age. I really wish this was my birthday party! We made invitations, decorations, sweets, activities, and favors. The food was all homemade, and we ordered the cake from Sukkar Cakes. Check out the slideshow below for more pictures from the party. You could either check it out as a slideshow or click on "view as one page" to, well, view as one page. Also check out the album on our Facebook page by clicking here. Happy 11th birthday, Joud!

01

These are the invitations I made for the birthday. I made them shaped as a purse using the same pattern that I used at the party.

01

This is how the invitation looked like from the inside. All of the details were added here. The invitation has to give an idea of what the party theme is going to be.

01

This is the Arabic version of the invitation that I made. There was enough space on top of the bow to write the name of the person invited.

01

The desert and food table.

01

We made two black chandeliers and a vintage frame with the barbie in the middle that represents fashion. We handmade the birthday banner and added it on the same wall.

01

The birthday banner was personalized using the birthday girl's name.

01

On the left side of the table were pink, black, and white balloons. On the right side were pink lanterns.

01

Everything on the table was just too pretty to eat! We made pink popcorn boxes for each person.

01

We added a pink table runner with swirl confetti. In the middle of the table was the super cute and delicious cake made by the talented Sukkar Cakes!

01

We ordered this amazing cake from Sukkar Cakes. I made cupcakes with customized toppers, and pink sugar cookies. Isn't this just too cute?

01

Those are the chocolate covered apples I made, covered with pink! The drinks were also covered with pink wrappers. All of the delicious food was made by the birthday girl's mom.

01

I made the sugar cookies in the shapes of dresses.

01

I also made sugar cookies shaped as pink purses.

01

Here's a closer look at the cupcakes I made. I topped them with pink and white frosting and customized toppers.

01

I added pink sugar sprinkles on the white frosting. Isn't that the cutest topper?

01

Time to sing happy birthday!

01

The activities table.

01

Activity #1: Each girl made her own charm bracelet. They were provided with the string and charms shaped as butterflies, hearts, and flowers.

01

The girls were so excited to make their own bracelets to wear!

01

They were really creative and knew exactly what it was they wanted to make.

01

Their finished creations. Adorable!

01

All of the different styles they came up with were pretty.

01

Another activity was the guest book frame. I added a picture of the birthday girl in the middle all dressed up and looking fabulous.

01

I made a pink rose bouquet and added it next to the frame.

01

I loved how the frame looked with all of the autographs and birthday wishes at the end of the party.

01

Another activity was the marshmallow game. The winner was so excited to win so many pink and white marshmallows!

01

This game was the lipstick game. One girl had to close her eyes and put some lipstick on another girl without seeing anything. They just couldn't stop laughing once they saw what they have done!

01

The final look after the lipstick game!

01

This section was filled accessories, makeup, and photo props for the girls to wear. We let them choose what they wanted to wear to the fashion show.

01

They were so excited when they found out there was going to be a fashion show in a couple of minutes, and that they were the models!

01

I made this simple and elegant necklace holder, and an instruction frame telling them to get ready for the cameras.

01

I made this headband holder to organize all of the fun headbands we displayed.

01

I placed a vintage mirror on the dress up table. For the decorations I made a mannequin and added a pearl necklace on it. On the right is the bracelet holder.

01

I added paper lanterns on top of the fashion show runway.

01

It was time to start the fashion show! We added a pink carpet, put some music, and let the birthday girl start the show!

01

So much fun!

01

Smile for the camera!

01

Such a cute fashion show!

01

I just loved how they all were waiting for their turn to walk down the runway.

01

Every one wanted to join in!

01

Everyone wanted to model!

01

To end the fashion show, we let all of the models come out and walk on the pink runway together!

01

I took this picture right after the fashion show was done. All of the models were happy the show was a success!

01

I love how the decorations all turned out together!

01

The favors table.

01

We made the favor bags shaped as purses, added pearls, a bow, and a "thank you for coming" price tag.

01

We added rings, stickers, a mini vintage frame, and a personalized keychain. We made the keychains using the vintage barbie and added the words "you are beautiful" on the back.

01

I took a picture of the birthday girl, framed it, and added it to the favors table.

01

I added small pearls on the frame too.

01

I made chocolate lollipops and wrapped them with a personalized "thank you" label. This was also a favor that the girls took home with them.

01

Happy 11th Birthday, Joud!
