Bridal Shower Invitations

I recently was asked to create a bridal shower invitation, and I couldn't have been more excited. Making the wedding dress, hair,  and bride from scratch might have been time consuming, but it was so much fun creating.  The shower colors are red and white, so I had to stick to that theme. I love making invitations that are unique and modern, and I cant wait to create more!

Real Party- Red, Brown, and Beige

For my husband's birthday, I decided to make him all the desserts that he loves. I love dessert tables, and this was my first attempt of making one. All I can say is... success! What made it an extra special birthday was that everything was homemade, from the decorations to the desserts. I had to add fortune cookies since we were going to eat Chinese food for dinner. The theme was red, brown, and beige. Good thing he came home early that day or he would've had a dessert table, without the desserts!

Gift basket that consists of cupcake pops, chocolate covered strawberries, fortune cookies, and a brownie.

Cheesecake Cupcakes!

I love cheesecake. I love cupcakes. To eat them both at once... that's heaven for me! These delicious cheesecake cupcakes completed the dessert table.

I always use Oreo cookies as the crust, because I just love Oreos!

I made these recently for my husband's birthday party, so I thought of adding sweet and funny cupcake toppers.

Chocolate Filled Flower Vase

This chocolate filled flower vase gave the table an elegant twist. Even though making this flower was a bit time consuming, it was worth it in the end! The party theme colors were red, beige, and brown, so I tried to just use those colors.

Three words, chocolate covered raisins. I am in love with these, so I chose to use them to fill up the vase. I needed some kind of chocolate that was red, so I bought some milk chocolate red hearts.

Eclair Torte

This is probably my favorite desert! It's so easy to make, and I always get positive feedback. Just make sure that after you beat in the eggs with the flour, that it is completely blended. Another important thing is to remember to drizzle the chocolate syrup just before serving. This dessert is a must at any party you throw, or any party you are invited to.

Paper Napkin Origami

I know this might sound weird, but I just learned how to fold a napkin, fancy style that is. We found a bunch of different napkin origami, some harder to make than others. Some worked from the beginning, some after a couple of times; others, well, let's just say we preferred to not post them. I only had orange napkins, but any color would look great. Check out the pictures below, and the how-to links under them.

A tie and a dress, I would use this for a bride and groom.

This pretty dress could work for several occasions such as, a baby shower, a bridal shower, or even a girls birthday party.

This was so easy to make. This tie shaped napkin works best for father's day or a father's birthday.

Finally, a perfect shirt that you can get messy without any worries. This could work for fathers day, a baby shower, a birthday, etc.

Added the tie and the shirt together and voila!

And you can't forget this simple style for more formal occasions.

Graduation Party Invitations and Theme!

My sister and her junior class recently had to organize a graduation party for the senior class. I of course offered (or was forced by my sister) to create cute invitation cards and cupcake toppers. Food is always the best invitation! The party's theme was red and gold, so I created the cupcake toppers using those colors. Then we used glitter to cover the edges. How cute is this!

The gold glitter really made them stand out!

My sister (and her classmates) chose these colors since the hall curtains were already red, so the best combination was red and gold. I didn't think it was going to be this beautiful!

Balloons just never get old. Too cute!

The junior class (my sister and her classmates) personalized candles with the names of each senior on the ribbons. These candles made elegant center pieces, and memorable party favors !

Marshmallow Dessert

This is one of our family and friend's favorite dessert. It's easy to make and even easier to eat. It's so light and fluffy, and we promise you will be asking for seconds!

Frappuccino!

Yum... frappuccino! It was only 3 a.m. and I felt like trying something out. I decided that the best way for me to sleep quickly was if I had some caffeine. So yes, I drank this at 3 a.m. This is perfect for the hot summer days, and it tasted just as good as the one you would stop to buy. 

Birthday Subway Art

This birthday subway art frame can work as a great gift or you can even use it to decorate your table. The party theme colors were red, brown, and beige, so I made this subway art using those colors. I printed it out, and framed it in a 8x10 inch frame, but you can adjust the size however you like. I'll be posting a lot of these for different occasions, so stay tuned!
