Happy Eid Everyone!

Happy Eid! I hope the past Ramadan was filled with blessings for everyone. Finally I will be able to look at food again and actually bake them during the day (and post post post!). As a gift from me to you, please help yourself to some delicious sweets from any one of these baskets we made.
These were the two baskets we made. Since I like you for liking my blog, you are allowed to take one from each. The one on the left consists of goodie bags filled with chocolate, chocolate covered raisins, and sugar cookies. The one on the right is filled with more chocolate, chocolate covered raisins, and sugar cookies.
These bags are great for the kids (and a great way to keep the house clean). I'm going to be nice (again) and let you take as many as you want!
We made these cute bag labels that have different Eid blessings written on them.
There's one for you, one for you, and one for you.
Moon and stars shaped sugar cookies with drizzled chocolate and sprinkles. Hurry up and eat them before I do!

I hope you're not full, because you have to eat something from this basket too. We made moons and stars chocolate, and added the Hijri year 1432. Those are too cute to eat. I hope you enjoyed your Eid sweets!

Red, Pink, and Orange Anniversary Party

The theme for this anniversary party was red, pink, and orange, keeping it elegant and fun at the same time. This was a wonderful surprise for our parents, and a great family gathering. We also made a family slideshow that started off with the family baby pictures and ended with.... well what our lives ended up to be after these 24 for years of being a family. This day will definitely be remembered, the food, decorations, slideshow, and a dinner gift card were the perfect combination to make our parents happy on their anniversary!
The dining table was covered with brown table cloth and a pink table runner. Handmade pink, orange, and red felt roses were used as the centerpiece. Around them, candles and pearls were used, keeping the table elegant.
Handmade pink, red, and orange felt roses with pearls.
What's on the menu? Chocolate covered apples, carrot cake, cheesecake, and heart shaped chocolate lollipops. And of course, everything was homemade :)
Hmm is that an envelope? What's a better anniversary gift than a dinner for two at the Mövenpick Hotel!

This is the family subway art that we made, for them to keep, but for me to steal :)

Purple and Pink Makeup Themed Party

This party just made me want to be a kid all over again. We had so much fun planning, decorating, and celebrating her 10th birthday. We made it a pink and purple makeup themed party. The kids enjoyed every single bit of it!

These were the invitations we made for the birthday girl to give to her friends.
Homemade chocolate cupcakes with cute toppers.
The birthday wishes book. We had each of her friends write her something special, and add their handprint too!
Couldn't help but notice the "best party"!
These favors were customized for each girl, using her initials. We filled them up with necklaces, lipstick, sunglasses, candy, and nail polish.
Got to love the birthday hats!
A table just isn't complete without a cute and fun centerpiece that states the party's theme.
Homemade chocolate makeup and some extra large sugar cookie lips!
The "how well do you know the birthday girl" game was so much fun, and the the questions were so funny. They had 15 seconds to answer every question, but I think we lost count after 5!
No party is complete without a pinata! We got her a nail polish shaped pinata and filled it up with candy of course!
Photoprops gave the girls a chance to show their goofy sides. They just kept laughing the whole time, and even the baby couldn't resist.
Don't worry, we made sure this makeup could be washed right away. One girl was blindfolded and was given red lipstick. She had to find the other girls lips and try to make it, well, let's just say it was a beautiful and fun mess!

Pink and Purple Gift Basket

This purple and pink gift basket made the perfect birthday gift for our older sister. It consisted of a picture frame, a hand bag, and a "50 reasons why we love our sister" jar. The pink and purple tissue paper flowers decorated the basket beautifully!
This "50 reasons why we love our sister" jar made a very meaningful gift. It is a wonderful gift to receive and is so much fun to look back on many years after receiving. It kept us laughing for hours!

Cupcake Pops

I finally made them. Cupcake pops! There are so many different ways to make them, but since half my family is addicted to Oreos, I decided to make Oreo cupcakes. I covered them with white and dark chocolate. The taste was amazing, and they were very cute. These are a great hit at any party for any occasion, and even as a gift!

Purple Favors and Guestbook

No party's complete without a guestbook and favors, so we made these based on the special person's favorite color. You could add these to any party, such as a birthday, graduation, engagement, or a wedding! This would look great using any color, and you can fill up the favors with so many different types of chocolate. We made sure the guests used a silver pen to sign the guestbook since the pages are purple. Adding pictures inside is a great way to personalize the pages, so we made these photo corners that they can adjust to their own taste.

Lots and lots of handmade favors shaped as dresses (this was for an engagement party).

Chocolate Graduation Caps and Diplomas

It's graduation time! To celebrate, we made these chocolate graduation caps and diplomas. These easy treats are perfect for a graduating student of any age, and can work as delicious party favors. We used peanut butter cups and mint chocolate.

Chocolate Covered Apples

Chocolate covered apples. Delicious! The fun thing about these is that you can cover them with as much chocolate as you wish and choose whatever topping you prefer to coat it with. You can add coconut, m&ms, sprinkles, nuts, or even white chocolate. These are perfect parties snacks for both kids and adults, or even a gift!
We also made white chocolate covered apples. They were just as delicious!
