Simple & Meaningful Cards

I love cards. It's true that you will end up hiding them in some place you would never remember, but the excitement would be when you do accidentally find them (to all of you that have given me cards, this is not me speaking from personal experience)! I love cards, they are so simple and so meaningful. Here are some samples of the many cards to come!

"Getting Older Sucks!" Gift

This is such a fun gift idea to give to anyone on their birthday. Let's just say you know someone that's turning 40 and you want to remind them that it just sucks to get older. This is the best (and not so rude) way to send the message that ''turning 40 sucks"! We filled up a jar with the same amount of lollipops as their age, but since this was for a teenager we cheated and added him a lot more. Believe me, no one would be upset to get more candy :) .

Jars Filled With Love!

Here are two other ways we filled up jars with love. Like our older post (check it out here), we filled them up with Hershey Kisses, but the one on the left had a little surprise under all of that delicious chocolate! This could be customized for a mom on Mothers Day, a birthday, or simply to show someone you love them as much as you love chocolate.

 Once the chocolate has all been eaten, (oh the sadness), there was a little card that said "10 reasons why I love you". 

These were the heart shaped cards that were hiding at the bottom of the jar. You can fill them up with any beautiful reason for that special person (oh the happiness)!

Personalized Name Banner

This personalized banner is so simple and so elegant and is such a cute decoration. We made this using the names of the couple, and added sparkly hearts on the sides and in the middle. Love!

The Husband Survival Kit

This basket should be required for a husband, whether newlywed or has been married forever! Everything in this survival kit is going to make your husband smile, from the M&M's to the puzzle. It's also a way to show him that you know that you're the best wife in the world and care about him so much and you will let him take some time off and relax (there's even a reminder for that)! I'm so sorry I wasn't able to make one for every single one of you, but don't worry I'll make sure I will remember you every time I eat a cupcake :). Baby Favors

So we got the baby shower activities and decorations, but there must be some favors to give out to all the people invited! I love a basket with a variety, so many options to choose from. Just make sure someone doesn't take the whole basket. Consider that a warning, it could happen!

Baby Shower Decorations

Here are some banners we made for a baby shower. The mom-to-be was out of town so this was a great way to welcome her back with a baby shower! The first banner says "It's Twins!" with a cute baby toy next to each letter. The second one says "Sweet Arrival" with a cute pregnant mom-to-be in the middle.

Okay I think I'm in love with the fingerprint guestbooks, and I will try to make one for every occasion! This is another great idea for a baby shower activity. We made this personalized using the mom-to-be's name. We added the babies initials on to the pink and blue cribs.

Baby Shower Activity: Advice for Mom-To-Be

Baby showers are a great way to celebrate our little ones. There definitely has to be some kind of activities for everyone to enjoy, and this is a cute and simple one. This was made for a twins baby shower, so we chose baby pink and blue. We made paper onesies, hung them, and put the instructions frame next to it. Everyone would write the advice they have for the mom-to-be and for the twins (to read when they grow up unless you have some super smart babies).
