Ballet Themed Birthday Party

This birthday girl wanted a ballet themed birthday party since she and all of her friends love… ballet! We added a little silver winter decorations to welcome the season. The colors for the birthday were pink, silver, and white. We made tulle pom poms, cupcakes with ballerina toppers, cookies shaped as snowflakes, and so much more! We told all of the girls invited to wear their ballet clothes, and we made them tiaras to wear! There were also many activities such as a photobooth, freeze dance, and facepainting. The favors were ballet inspired, and you'll have to check out the slideshow to get more details! You can check out the pictures on our Facebook page here too. Happy 10th birthday Rand!

Guest "Book" Frame for Social Media Lovers

This is a gift for a very special friend of ours who is interested in everything that has to do with social media. I made him a guest "book" frame to look like his Facebook timeline! Even the frame's border was the Facebook blue. Everyone that was invited to the party was able to write him a special birthday message, and I added a place for him to reply back. The only thing missing was to connect it to his real Facebook account. Check out the pictures for more details! Happy Birthday Saleh!
I added a lot of comment boxes, one for each guest to write on.
I added a "write a special birthday..." in the "write something" box.
 Comments, comments, and more comments!
Time to reply to all of the birthday wishes!
I added some special information in the "about" section of his timeline that says who the birthday gift is from... and we got a "like"!

Orange & Gold Bridal Shower

These beautiful colors (orange and gold) worked perfectly together for this bridal shower. We made decorations and favors using these colors. I added a lot of gold glitter since, well, I just love glitter! I love glitter in any color, it just makes everything look extra fancy! Check out the banner, cupcake toppers, and favors that we made. These would look great using any color! Congratulations Dalia and Issa!
The bridal shower favors we made were orange and gold purses.
A closer look at the purse favor, we added gold glitter to the front and handle.
We also added a "thanks for coming" label.
Our handmade banner. We used the bride and groom's name, and added gold hearts.
The letters were all made using both orange and gold.

The bride-to-be sash.

A Geek Themed Engagement Party

I just love it when couples want to add something new and unique to their engagement party or wedding! These items are for couples who just love anything that has to do with Google and all things geeky! We made everything using the Google logo colors. Check out the pictures of the favors, guest book, guest book frame, photo props, and more. Congratulations Rasha and Mohammad!
These are the super geeky favors. I made 3D shaped letters and chocolate shaped as "O"s to spell out the word "Google"!
Let's see how many geeks are going to understand this banner! Oh my, what are those little green boxes down there?
These are the Android boxes we made to hold the rings. One for the bride and one for the groom. Love how fancy they are!
This is a sign based on the Foursquare app that the couple used as a prop in their engagement photos.
I also made these moustache props that were used also used as photo props.
These are the handmade thought bubbles (shaped as the Google Talk bubbles) I made for the couple to write what they are thinking during the photo shoot!
What's the best way to write a note for this couple? In Gmail envelopes of course! I made these envelopes and hung them on the frame that would be displayed at the engagement party. The guests would write an note email for the couple and place it in one of the many envelopes. How geeky is that?
These are the Gmail "compose" papers that I made for the guest to write an email on.
Some of the Gmail envelopes were left on the table.
After the engagement party, the couple would place the Gmail envelopes in this guest book that I made for them.
I placed the Gmail envelope icon in place of the "M", and designed the front cover using the Google logo colors. It can't get any geekier than this!
Just one more picture because I just love how it turned out!

Handmade Flower Headbands

I love headbands, and I am obsessed with these flower headbands! These are our handmade headbands that we made for the girls to wear during the Eid holiday. It is such a great accessory to add to any beautiful outfit. We made two different styles in three colors to match their Eid outfits: pink, white, and purple. The picture above is a white flower with pearls on a ribbon headband (the same one in the post here). These could work for everyday, a gift, a party outfit, or even as a party favor to give to the guests. You will be seeing a lot more of these in different styles and colors!
Purple handmade flower on a black glitter headband. You can mix and match colors, the headband doesn't have to be the same color as the flower.
