A fortune cookie is a crisp cookie with a "fortune" wrapped inside. A fortune is a piece of paper with words of wisdom. Fortune cookies are often served as dessert in Chinese Restaurants. This handmade Chinese food takeout box filled with handmade fortune cookies made a thoughtful and special birthday gift. I know that my friend is fortunate to have ME as her friend, but i still wrote a special and meaningful fortune in each of these handmade cookies for her. This made the perfect gift especially because we loveee Chinese food!
